Where do you need to be covered?

UK cover is for annual policies covering you anywhere in the UK.

UK and Europe cover is for annual and single trip policies covering you anywhere in the UK and Europe.

What level of cover do you need?

Both cover levels attempt to fix your vehicle at the roadside first before taking it to a garage.

Local cover - Most polices recover your vehicle to a garage within a 20-mile radius if it can't be fixed at the roadside. Check the policy details as a distance can vary by provider.

Nationwide cover - Most policies take your vehicle and passengers to your home or original destination, if it can't be fixed the same day. Check the policy details for recovery information.

What type of cover do you need?

Personal cover covers the person(s) named on the policy as a passenger or driver of any vehicle that meets the policy requirements, up to 4 people can be covered who live at the same address.

Vehicle cover covers the vehicle(s) specified on the policy, up to 4 vehicles can be covered as long as they are registered at the same address.

What kind of cover do you need?

Annual - this policy type covers you for multiple trips, up to 90 days at a time in Europe over the course of a year. It also provides nationwide cover when in the UK.

Single trip - this policy type includes UK nationwide cover and can cover you for up to 90 days at a time, plus one trip to Europe. It can be bought up to three months in advance.

These commonly added features cover for breakdowns at your home or while on a journey. If you're unsure, you can add these and other features on the prices page.

Home start - if you breakdown within 1 mile of your home address, your vehicle will be recovered to your home, or the nearest available garage.

Onward travel - if you breakdown on a journey, this provides you with car hire, public transport or a hotel room if your vehicle can't be fixed the same day.
